Centenary Celebrations
In April 2010, Murrayville is celebrating 100 years since settlement, and to mark this extraordinary milestone, a weekend of activities and events has been organised from Friday 2nd April - Monday 5th April. The community of Murrayville invites you to come back and visit this unique oasis and relive experiences from your time in the heart of the Mallee and spend time catching up with family and olf friends. We encourage everyone with ties to the town and surrounding community to visit and make these celebrations a huge success!

Registration for the weekend will take place on the Saturday morning from 9:30am at the Murrayville Recreation Reserve. This will be followed by an official opening by Rachael Sporn and the unveiling of the Centenary Plaque at 2:00pm.
Planned activities for the celebrations so far include:
- machinery and vehicle displays and demonstrations
- family and class reunions
- Saturday night dinner with live entertainment
- Easter Sunday Ecumenical Church Service
- children’s activities and jumping castle
- tours of the district, local attractions, school and museum
If you would like to see more details of the events, please see our most up to date Program.
If you are interested in attending this event, please RSVP.
If you would like, you can also print off a Centenary Invitation to display on your fridge or pass onto other people who may be interested in attending!
The Murrayville Centenary Celebrations are proudly supported by the Mildura Rural City Council and Bank SA.
